6 WAYS TO SCORE THE LOWEST PRICE ON YOUR NEXT CAR

Buying a car is a headache. There are so many factors to consider when buying, and it can quickly become confusing. The stereotypes haunt me when I imagine a creepy used car salesman sitting in my neck when I imagine buying a car. But maybe the questions haunt me even more: Do you just go to the dealership and ask what you want?  Lease or buy a car?  What does effective annual interest rate mean? Residual?  Do you go through a broker who may or may not have your best interests in mind? There are several ways to buy a car, but negotiations are a different story. Read now and learn 6 tactics to get the best price for your next car.

6. THINK OF YOUR BUDGET – THEN GO LOWER

When you come in for the first time, the seller will ask for your budget. Avoid this question and remain vague. If you give him a price, he will either try to put you in a drawer or you will switch to a lower vehicle.

One of the best tactics is to tell them something like

"I'm looking for the lowest price you can tell me."
"Tell me your prices first, and I'll let you know if it fits into my budget."
If you need to say a dollar amount, go low.  Find an ad and name a number that is 20% lower.

 5. STAY AWAY FROM FEATURES YOU DON’T NEED

Find out what options are important to you before you go to the dealership. Usually it is the extras that make a car more expensive, and it is usually the place where the seller ends up earning his commission. The additional equipment sounds good, but is usually unnecessary and underutilized. There are usually larger discounts on basic models, as these vehicles are usually made in excess.

4. FORGO THE ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES

Almost all new vehicles are delivered with appropriate warranty programs. All car dealerships have their own maintenance programs with additional guarantees that are vague and unrecognizable. The range ranges from 500 to 5000, and it's hard to understand what's in it. If the car is new, chances are you will never use this warranty. I suggest sticking to the original warranty and saving your money on gasoline and car washes!

3. ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER

The sales representative is essentially an intermediary between the manager and the customer. If you want to have serious negotiations, skip the seller and ask to speak directly to the manager. Say something like: "I have money for a deposit today and want to drive away with a car, can I please talk to a manager? To be particularly serious, take out your chequebook or put your credit card on the table. When you talk to a manager, you get access to deeper discounts and offers and can make a valuable contact for future car purchases.

2. BEFORE YOU GO TO THE DEALERSHIP, DO YOUR RESEARCH

Knowledge is power. Know exactly the car you want and the details of the car - the fuel consumption, the engine, the prices, the colors. The more you know, the more credible you look at the seller or manager. Many sales people and even managers are new because of the dynamics of the business, and you may end up knowing more about the vehicle than the employee. So you can really do the best business.

1. BE CONFIDENT

All negotiating tips in the world cannot replace a solid trust. Car sellers are well trained to sell and make the most of the profits from vulnerable customers. As long as you hold your own and deal firmly with price and budget, you are well on your way to getting the car of your dreams at the price of your dreams,
